April 30 ^th is the deadline to file 2025 income taxes for your loved ones.

Completing your loved one’s taxes each year is essential, as their rent is based on 80% of annual after-tax income. This rate is reviewed and recalculated annually by the Ministry of Health and Vancouver Coastal Health. Ensuring taxes are filed on time helps your loved one receive the most accurate rent rate for the coming year. If taxes are not submitted, your loved ones may be charged the MAX rent rate.
