This Giving Tuesday — and throughout the season of giving — The Broadway Group is partnering with Whole Way House to raise $75,000 to support community-building programs for 54 low-income seniors living at Shiloh Place in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
We are asking our community to help us reach this goal to support our Shiloh Place seniors. Your generous gift will help fund community-building programs like Whole Way House’s “ReConnect, ReBuild, ReCenter” approach to fostering dignity, stability, and belonging for vulnerable seniors, and combat isolation by fostering social connections and building a sense of belonging. There is a critical need in Metro Vancouver, where seniors now represent 24% of the homeless population.
