Dear Families and Friends,
We are reaching out to offer resources to you should you wish to join in the collective voices that are being raised to implore the provincial government to revisit and reverse their decision to cancel funding that has been provided to LTC for the past five years without proposing a new funding model that will support quality care.
Attached please find a letter template that you may use to write your MLA, the Minister of Health and the Premier to request action that supports our seniors in care. Below is the link to locate contact details for your MLA:

Province Announces Funding Cuts to Long-Term Care
The Province is ending funding that covered overtime and agency staffing in long-term care as of October 31, 2025. We’re safeguarding care first, reviewing schedules, and advocating with partners. Please see attached letter for ways you can help advocate for your loved ones in long-term care affected by these funding cuts.
