Volunteer With Us

You can make a difference!

Volunteers bring joy and connection to the lives of residents across our communities. If you are looking to gain experience working with seniors, supporting individuals living with diverse abilities, or simply have time and energy to share, we invite you to join us. Whether you are helping with recreation programs, walking with a resident along the seawall, or accompanying someone to an appointment, your contribution makes a lasting difference in their quality of life.

Our Communities

Long Term Care:

At our long-term care community, volunteers help create connections and purpose for seniors through a variety of opportunities. One of our most loved activities is the duet wheelchair bike. Cyclists can share their time and energy by taking residents for rides along the False Creek seawall. We provide all the training (about 1.5–2 hours) so you can feel confident before heading out for these memorable outings.

Other ways to volunteer include visiting with a pet, walking with a resident along the seawall, or lending a hand to our recreation team during programs and activities.

However you choose to help, your time makes a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Supported Housing:

Many of our residents use wheelchairs, which can make everyday tasks more challenging. Volunteers play an important role in supporting daily outings and activities that build connection and community. You can help with exercise, social visits, or one-on-one activities such as strolls along the seawall, going for coffee, playing cards, or accompanying a resident to an appointment. Your time and presence make a meaningful difference.
